Description: The Vishnu is clothed in a sampot that sits high on the hips and dips below the navel in front,
typical of the early Baphuon style.
The face has slightly arched eyebrows, deep-cut almond-shaped eyes, wide, rimmed lips. The deep-cute eyes are similar to those on a Baphuon-style head from Basak, may once have been inlaid. Like other Shiva sculpture from Baphuon period, the eyes are inlaid with obsidian.
