Description:This Buddha is representative of the idealized and expressive art of the reign of King Jayavarman VII: hair style and a cranial protuberance covered by a conical (Mukuta) decorated with rows of lotus petals. The Buddha face, with its realistic and strongly individualized features, clearly belongs to highly distinctive style of the Bayon period.
