Description: A group of nine divinities, collectively known to specialists as "the nine Deva", Navagraha, the nine seizers of Indian astronomy and astrology. This lintel represents the Navagraha, these figures would be from left, Candra on a pedestal; Yama (guardian of the south) on an ox; Varuna on a hamsa; Indra (guardian of the east) on elephant; Kubera (guardian of the north) on a horse; Ketu astride a lion; and Rahu half visible in a swirl of clouds.
