Description: The Rishi seated in the center within an arch decorated with lotus-leaf motif which is the characteristic of the Angkor Vat period. The Rishi is represented with closed eyes, a wide moustache, and a long pointed beard. A Rishi is a Hindu ascetic or hermit who received the revelation of the Vedic hymns, and is usually represented as a bearded sage focused in meditation.
